Sourcing and attribution
Our reports are original summaries based on identified source reporting. Each article names the original publisher and links to the original article. We do not reproduce source text or copy sentence structure.
Verification
Before publication, each candidate story passes automated checks covering source reliability, source accessibility, factual consistency with the source, duplication, editorial quality and defamation risk. Publication readiness is recorded as PASS, REVIEW or REJECT. We do not claim absolute verification, and we say clearly where a detail has not been independently confirmed.
What we do not publish
We do not publish allegations, rumours, unverified claims, invented quotations, fabricated statistics or defamatory material. Stories containing serious allegations or legal disputes are routed to human review rather than automated publication, and negative reporting is never rewritten to appear positive.
AI assistance
Some summaries are drafted with AI assistance under editorial supervision. Drafts are constrained to facts present in the source material, and every AI-assisted article retains an internal provenance record covering source URL, source timestamp, retrieval time, generation time, model identifier, verification status and editor approval.
Imagery
We use source imagery only where licensing permits and attribution can be fulfilled. Otherwise we use licensed assets or clearly labelled illustrative images, which are never presented as documentary evidence of a specific real-world event.
Corrections
If you believe a report contains an error, contact the desk. Substantive corrections are made promptly and noted on the article.
