Alkagesta's Singapore-based Asian division has announced reaching a monthly delivered volume of 250 kilotonnes. This milestone, reported during the APPEC 2026 event, signifies the company's established presence in the Singapore market, where it now accounts for around 5% of the marine fuels sector.

The company attributes this growth to a strategic approach that included securing storage capacity at Horizon Terminal and expanding its distribution network for short-term market requirements. This development has strengthened Alkagesta's physical operational footprint in the region.

Financial results for the first half of 2026 further underscore this expansion. Alkagesta Singapore recorded 1.65 million metric tonnes delivered, an increase of approximately 104% compared to 0.81 million metric tonnes in 2025. Revenue reached US$1.01 billion, representing a growth of about 171% over the full year 2025 figures.

The company indicated that these outcomes also reflect improved profitability and a strengthened capital base, stemming from the systematic development of infrastructure, commercial relationships, market capabilities, and local personnel, as detailed by alkagesta.com.
