CMA CGM and DSV have formalised an expanded collaboration aimed at advancing low-carbon maritime transport. Under the new arrangement, DSV will integrate CMA CGM's ACT+ initiative into its operations.
This partnership specifically targets a reduction of 12,000 tonnes in carbon dioxide emissions across a two-year timeframe. The agreed emissions savings will be realised through the deployment of low-carbon fuels.
Second-generation UCOME-based biofuels are designated as the primary low-carbon fuel source for achieving these reductions. Further details regarding the implementation of this commitment were not immediately available.
Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide reported on this agreement between the two logistics and shipping entities.
