South Africa's Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) has initiated a process to identify a suitable entity to develop and manage a new liquefied natural gas (LNG) receiving terminal. The proposed facility, situated at the Port of East London, is intended to be a small to medium-sized operation.
The East London port, located within the Eastern Cape province, has been designated as the site for this new energy infrastructure project.
According to a report by Rigzone, the TNPA has commenced accepting applications from interested parties for this development.
